THE PROMISE OF LIVING

Dr. Everlado Martinez & Dr. Natalia Vacarciuc

This concert is sure to lift your spirits. The orchestra will perform Aaron Copland's engaging Tender Land Suite, arranged for 13 instruments by one of Dr. Everett's mentors, Maestro Murry Sidlin. The suite also features soprano Therese Kulas and tenor Cole Giradot and a special appearance by the University of Mary Concert Choir. Our own Dr. Everaldo Martinez and Dr. Natalia Varcarciuc give the midwest preview of Lucas Richman's Concerto for Violin and Cello: Un Pasto con Luciana e Mario. Also joining us for this concert is local news celebrity Marci Narum of the Capitol Gallery narrating The Wishing Tree by Paul Schoop. This is a concert that is sure to leave our audience humming and smiling!

ATTENDANCE POLICY

For our wonderful and talented musicians, we have made some changes. It will be a smaller group, so they can distance on stage. It will also be primarily strings, including our amazing guest artist, internationally acclaimed violist Brett Deubner. They will all be wearing masks while assembling and arranging themselves on stage. They may remove them for the performance.

For those that attend either concert in person, you may not be able to sit in your normal assigned seat, as we will be social distancing attendees. We did our best, but the safety of our musicians, employees, and patrons is extremely important to us, and we may have assigned you new seats. In any case, bring your ticket, it will get you in the door, even if you have to move seats! We will also have volunteers available to remind you of your new seats, and help you find them.

For those attending in person, know that in addition to social distancing the audience, we will also be attempting to stagger arrival times, more on that in a minute. We will also be requiring masks when entering or departing, and when moving about, you may choose to remove them when seated. If you arrive without a mask, we will have some available. We will be providing hand sanitizing stations. We will have programs, they will remain untouched in the boxes they were shipped in, and you may take your own to avoid hand to hand contact.

Thanks,
Mike Gardner
